INTERPRETING
We are committed to advising you on the interpreting services you need to ensure the success of your events. With more than 30 years of experience and a select team of professional interpreters, we support you in different languages in the following modalities:
01
SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETING
Simultaneous Interpreting is the right technique for all kinds of events where communication between different actors must be instantaneous. With the support of modern technologies appropriate for each circumstance, interpreters translate messages simultaneously, thus eliminating the language barrier between speakers, lecturers, and participants.
a.
In-Person with Conference Equipment
It is used in Congresses, Seminars, Webinars, Courses, Training Workshops, Meetings, and requires the following standard conference equipment:
-
Soundproof booths for interpreters
-
Microphone system
-
Receivers for participants, as required by the client
-
Technical operators
b.
In-Person with Portable Equipment
It is used in tours to Plants, Mine Sites, Factories, Press Conferences, Training Workshops, Classes, Tours, Meetings with a reduced number of attendees. The Portable Equipment does not require any type of installation or technical feasibility at the work place, so the activity can be carried out smoothly without any movement restriction.
c.
Remote Simultaneous Interpreting
This modality is used in Conferences, Seminars, National and International Webinars; Courses, Training Workshops, Meetings, Classes, etc. through an online platform such as Zoom, Webex, Teams or others, with no restriction as to the number of attendees or the place where the speakers and participants are located.
d.
Hybrid Interpreting
It combines In-person Interpreting with Remote or Virtual Interpreting. This means that there is an audience and speakers present in the meeting room as well as participants connected virtually. Interpreters work through the chosen virtual platform, usually Zoom, Webex, Teams, or others.
02
CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING
Consecutive Interpreting is currently required only in very specific contexts, such as meetings in political, protocol and business settings with no more than two participants and interviews, where the parties interact in a bilateral framework.
As the message is duplicated each time the interpreter intervenes, the technique of Consecutive Interpreting, if not used correctly, can be slow and can thus lead to anxiety in the participants who have some knowledge of the languages involved. Hence, it is generally replaced by Simultaneous Interpreting with Portable Equipment.
03
LIASON INTERPRETING
This interpreting technique is used in contexts where highly specialized knowledge is not required, as in Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpreting, since the interpreter works in activities such as International Fairs, Accompanying Authorities in Protocol Activities, Family Relocation, among others.
